KAOLIN
Kaolin is a particular type of clay formed almost exclusively from kaolinite. In ceramic, it brings color and plasticity both in porcelain stoneware and in glazes, as well as not showing an attitude to swelling during its use in the production cycle.
It is also used as an alumina feeder in frits; other areas of use are in construction, to prepare plasters, stuccoes and refractories, in the production of food dyes and in the preparation of rubbers and detergents.
